Besides being an obsessed elephant collector, Michael Don Knapik is a Software Architect specializing in object-oriented analysis and design, artificial intelligence and e_commerce applications.

His recent books include:

     Developing Intelligent Agents for Distributed Systems: Exploring Architectures, Technologies and Applications. Published by McGraw-Hill.

     Michael‘s main scholarly interests revolve around the convergence of ideas within the cognitive neurosciences, physics, and the reported enlightenment experiences of consciousness.

      Michael was educated at Case Institute of Technology in Physics & Chemistry, and at Arizona State University in Computer Science and Philosophy. He has developed several computer applications and has consulted in the computer industry.

     Married & living in Fountain Hills, Arizona with 2 cats, Michael has built two custom homes, is a Master SCUBA diver, chess player, weight lifter and real-estate investor.
