Everything Elephants: A Collector's Pictorial Encyclopedia Errata

Writing a book without any errors or with complete information about every  collectible is nearly impossible.  And so there are a few errors and a few extra tidbits of information in Everything Elephants: A Collector's Pictorial Encyclopedia, a list of which follows.

Missing page numbers: 5, 6, 9, 27, 28, 49, 50, 58, 61, 63, 71, 95, 96, 103, 104, 135

Page 7: Near the top I reference an image by its image number. It should say it is the middle image on page 71.

Page 28: Some copies of the book have a missing image of Flow blue ceramic soup bowl.

Page 45: First Disney image is not an elephant!

Page 47: The lower left image called a Bronze door pull is probably a hook.

Page 49: The upper left item called a pewter hand fan is a business card receptacle.

Page 56: The Bayre elephant in the middle was made c 1900.

Page 70: The upper middle Lladro elephants; there is also a model #  4764 wherein the elephant stances are reversed - it was made during the years 1971-1974, is 14" H and is worth about $1000.

Page 73: The Lower right Raymoor (Raymor) elephant was made by artist Guido Gambone and is worth $500+

Page 75: The middle Stangle was made in several colors including a black model.  The model # is 5281 and was made in c 1973.

Page 93: The Bols liquor bottle was (also?) made in the 1980s and was issued as a set of 12.

Page 128: The bottom middle string holder is made by Hoffritz.

Page 130 lower right is an Chinese offering vessel.
